Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Interactive Vehicle Training Hub (IVTH) handles personal information when you create or use an IVTH account.

1. Information IVTH collects

For a standard IVTH account, the service may process:

IVTH does not require a postal address, telephone number or date of birth for a standard account unless a future service specifically requires it.

2. Passwords

Email and password authentication is provided through Supabase Auth. IVTH does not store or display your password in readable form. Password handling and verification are performed by the authentication provider.

3. Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in using Google, IVTH uses Google only to authenticate your account. The authentication process may provide IVTH with basic account information needed for sign-in, such as your Google account email address and an account identifier.

IVTH does not use Google Sign-In to access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts or other Google services.

4. How your information is used

IVTH uses account information to:

5. Where account data is stored

IVTH currently uses Supabase for authentication and related account services. The IVTH Supabase project has been configured in the London region.

6. Marketing

IVTH does not use your account email address to send unrelated marketing messages simply because you created an account. Authentication emails, such as account confirmation and password-reset messages, may be sent when required to provide or secure your account.

7. Sharing of information

IVTH does not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that are required to operate IVTH, such as Supabase for authentication and hosting-related services.

If payment subscriptions are introduced, a specialist payment provider may process payment and billing information. IVTH will not require users to place full card details into the IVTH website itself.

8. Data retention and account deletion

Account information is retained while it is reasonably required to provide and secure your IVTH account. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to any information that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention or accounting purposes.

9. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including requesting access, correction or deletion, and raising concerns about how your information is used.

10. Security

IVTH is designed so that sensitive authentication credentials are handled by the authentication provider rather than being stored in public website files. IVTH also uses access controls to limit account information to authorised users and services.

11. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if IVTH changes the information it collects, introduces subscriptions, changes service providers or adds new account features. The latest version will be published on this page.

12. Contact

For privacy questions, account deletion requests or other data-related enquiries, contact IVTH at ivthservices@gmail.com.

This page is publicly accessible so users can review IVTH's privacy information without signing in.
